AHLSTROM CORPORATION, ANNOUNCES EUR 38 MILLION EXPANSION AT ITS WINDSOR LOCKS, CT PLANT
The additional capacity from the new line will be targeted primarily to the dynamic consumer and industrial wipes markets in the USA and around the world, but will also have the production flexibility to meet changing customer demands in other nonwoven markets.
Speaking about the decision, Juha Rantanen, President and CEO of Ahlstrom Corporation, based in Helsinki, Finland said, " our commitment to the nonwovens market continues and this investment, again in Windsor Locks, shows our dedication to satisfying both North American and global customers wherever they are located".
The investment will begin immediately with commercial output expected early in 2004.
