Colart sole distributor of Arches® fine art papers
As of 1 January 2017 and according to the agreement signed in 2014 between Munksjö and Colart, Colart will, after a two year transition period, be the sole distributor for a selection of the premium range of Arches® fine art papers.
Munksjö is a leading producer of fine art papers under the brand Arches®. The agreement with Colart gives Munksjö continuous access to Colart’s’ worldwide distribution network, enabling expansion to new customers and geographies and enhancing the brand building of Arches®.
Arches® papers are used for fine arts (watercolour, oil, painting, drawing), art publishing, printing and writing. Arches® papers are mould made, using specific fibres (mainly cotton fibres) and favoured by artists and printers worldwide.
The Colart Group is the leading supplier of high quality art material, with brands like Winsor & Newton, Liquitex and Lefranc & Bourgeois in its portfolio.
