Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj: Change in the holding of Ahlström Capital Oy
AHLSTROM-MUNKSJÖ OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE January 18, 2021 at 20.30 EET
Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj has today received a notification in accordance with Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act from Ahlström Capital Oy. According to the notification, the shareholding of Ahlström Capital Oy in Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj has fallen below the threshold of 5 percent (from 18.36 percent to 0.00 percent). Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj’s registered total number of shares and voting rights of 115,653,315 has been used as the basis of calculation of percentages for the notification.
The decrease in the shareholdings of Ahlström Capital Oy relates to an internal reorganization in order to consolidate certain Ahlström family members’ and related entities’ shareholdings in Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj before the completion of the public tender offer for all outstanding shares and votes in Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj announced on September 24, 2020. As a result of a share exchange by Ahlstrom Invest B.V. in order to effect the internal reorganization, Ahlström Capital Oy no longer exercises control in Ahlstrom Invest B.V. Consequently, Ahlström Capital Oy no longer has indirect (or direct) holdings in Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj.
