Engineered paper surfaces and balancing foils, overlays

Balancing, primer, edge band and finish foil are glued or pressed to the backs, insides and exteriors of furniture and in different laminates. They prevent distortion or damage due to excess moisture, or they remove irregularities, seal the surface and provide a substrate for painting. 

Ahlstrom Spantex™ foils (available untreated or coated, solid colored or imprinted with patterns) are moisture-tolerant and easy to apply. They provide exceptional dimensional stability and require very little adhesive.
