PureArmor® Breathable Viral Barrier (BVB) protective apparel fabric for cleanrooms
Ahlstrom’s PureArmor® personal protective apparel fabric was developed specifically for use in cleanrooms and other sensitive environments, like laboratories. Strong, soft, and highly-breathable, it provides an excellent barrier to protect both wearer and workspace from contaminants.
The outer layer of PureArmor® is water repellent and durable. The inner layer is soft and easily worn for long durations. The barrier layer − a monolithic, nonporous film membrane − blocks the passage of fluids and particles while allowing moisture vapor to pass through. Wearers can breathe comfortably as they enjoy the highest level of protection.
PureArmor® is quiet and compliant with stringent international standards. Our proprietary low lint design is rated Class 2 by Helmke Drum Testing, making it suitable for ISO cleanroom classes 4-9. Watch our Strikethrough Fabric Test video here.
