Our SMS (Spunbond-Meltblown-Spunbond) trilaminate scrub suit fabric, VaporCool™ is soft to the touch and features Adaptive™ technology − a hydro-functional polymer layer that captures and distributes moisture. This special layer allows the fabric to change in response to the environment around it.
Dynamic cooling can help relieve some of the discomfort that comes with the bright lights and intense pressure of a surgical setting. When the operating rooms heats up, VaporCool™ keeps wearers cool and comfortable.
Worn in direct contact with the skin, VaporCool™ is able to regulate body temperature.
When the body is hot, the fabric evaporates sweat to create a cooling effect.
When the body is cold, the fabric holds in moisture to minimize evaporation and maintain heat. In practice − and in surgery – VaporCool™ behaves as an extension of the body, keeping wearers consistently 2-3°C cooler than a standard scrub suit.
