Ahlstrom’s Reliance® Crepe paper is a cost-effective solution for sterilization wrap, tray liner, and overwrap. Made with more than 97% of cellulosic fibers and wet strength agents, it meets all requirements for safe and reliable wrapping.
The cellulosic fibers in Reliance® crepe paper create a protective barrier – a complex surface [or best-in-class tortuous path] that inhibits penetration by bacteria. The material also absorbs moisture. Together, these properties maintain excellent sterility, keeping medical instruments and equipment free from contaminants.
Two versions for optimal performance
Reliance® Crepe paper is available in standard and sensitive versions. Reliance® Crepe Sensitive uses an offline micrexing process, which makes it softer with improved drapability. Reliance® Crepe papers also come in different colors and basis weights to accommodate various sterile barrier systems (SBS) requirements.
