A formação da Ahlstrom-Munksjö em 2017 e aquisição da unidade de Caieiras da MD Papéis em 2018 representou um salto de tamanho e oportunidades da empresa no Brasil. Antes unidades separadas, agora Jacareí, Louveira e Caieiras fazem parte de um sólido grupo escandinavo especializado em soluções em fibras que busca otimizar a estrutura de seus negócios no mundo.

Com base nesta premissa, as unidades do Brasil iniciaram em 2018 uma forte integração de estruturas e áreas no país visando a uniformização de procedimentos e rotinas, otimização de tempo no contato com parceiros e fornecedores, e especialização de funcionários em atividades especificas. São quatro áreas de apoio ao negócio envolvidas nesta integração – Financeiro, Compras, Recursos Humanos e Saúde & Segurança – que deve se estender até o final de 2019 e serão gerenciadas a nível de País

Estes ganhos de sinergias foram contemplados tanto no processo de fusão entre a Ahlstrom e a Munksjö quanto na aquisição da unidade de Caieiras, e permitirá grande ganho de produtividade das unidades, além é claro de permear melhores práticas entre as localidades.

The integration between units standardizes procedures and optimizes the time of A-M Brazil, generating greater productivity

The formation of Ahlstrom-Munksjö in 2017 and acquisition of Caieiras unit of MD Papéis in 2018 represented a jump in the size and opportunities of the company in Brazil. Before what were separated units, Jacareí, Louveira and Caieiras are now part of a solid Scandinavian group specialized in fiber solutions that seeks to optimize the structure of their business in the world.

Based on this premise, the Brazilian units started in 2018, a strong integration of structures and areas in the country aiming at standardization of procedures and routines, optimization of time in contact with partners and suppliers, and specialization of employees in specific activities. There are four business support areas involved in this integration - Financial, Procurement, Human Resources and Health & Safety - that should be extended by the end of 2019 and will be manage at the country level.

These gains in synergies have been addressed both in the merger between Ahlstrom and Munksjö and in the acquisition of the Caieiras unit, and will allow large gains in productivity of the units, in addition to permeating best practices among the localities.
